Our Client

Our client is a market leading independent specialist company, working with graduates. They enjoy a casual and friendly but success-oriented company atmosphere.

They have recently expanded their offering to include an exciting, stand-alone proposition promoting post-grad study-abroad opportunities in Australia to their pool of candidates.

The Role

This is an exciting new standalone role in a start-up division of the company, focusing on recruiting graduates for Australian higher education courses. You will be working as an Education Consultant where you will:

· Promote the opportunity to study in Australia to UK-based students using the existing, vast company database

· Develop a pipeline of interested students, guiding them through the application process right through to pre-departure briefings

· Market the Australian university partners and their courses

· Counsel interested students to match them to suitable courses and universities

· Advise students on the logistics of studying in Australia, such as visa processes and costs

· Manage applications, offers and ultimately ensure acceptance of offers

Once established in the role you will then:

· Approach universities to build relationships and win new business

· Meet virtually with university partners

· There is scope to grow this division, ensuring profitability and progressing to managing a team of education consultants.

The Candidate

This interesting, varied role could suit a variety of backgrounds including (but not exclusively) Recruitment, University Enrolment, Marketing, HR or Account Management. The key skills our client is seeking are:

· Strong communication skills

· Outgoing and personable with the ability to build rapport, relationships and network

· Motivated by KPIs and targets

· Demonstrable perseverance and resilience

· Organised; able to multitask efficiently and manage multiple projects

· Commercial awareness

· Passionate; taking pride in what you do and giving your all

· Knowledge or experience of the education sector would be beneficial but not essential

Terms

This Education Consultant role is seeking c. 24 hrs/wk over 3 days with a salary range of £30k-£35k fte depending on experience. The role is hybrid seeking a minimum of one day per week in the Brighton offices to work alongside the Director. (The first week of initial training will be held in Brighton).
