Administrative Assistant – Human Resources

The Head Office location for the Terroni restaurant group is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to provide clerical assistance within its Human Resources Department.

Our organization has grown over the years into a multi-faceted operation encompassing restaurants, bakeries and retail.
We are seeking a professional, organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic candidate with strong administrative and interpersonal skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning and photocopying documents, scheduling meetings, and data entry
· Maintain and assist with updating of HR forms, manuals and policy documents
· Develop and manage efficient filing systems
· Assist with benefits-related paperwork, enrolments, terminations and changes
· Support the recruitment and selection process including verifying employment, job postings, and assisting with onboarding and orientation for new employees
· Assist in HR related projects and research
· Compile reports and complete data audits as required
· Initiate, process and follow up required HR-related documentation from locations
· Assist with general Head Office clerical duties when requested in order to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience; preferably within a Human Resources department, but not essential
· Strong computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
· Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail
· Good organizational and time management skills
· Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and deadlines
· Team player with a willingness to assist where needed
· Mature and proven work ethic
· Understands and adheres to policies with respect to handling of confidential information
