Consider joining our team andunlock your potential.Facilities Custodian**20 – 24 hours each week:AM SHIFT:(4:00 AM- 2:30 PM, Saturday & Sunday)JOB SUMMARYUnder direct supervision, performs facilities maintenance, custodialservices, installation, improvements, and/or repairs. May performduties in a clean room environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIESResponsible for following existing methods and procedures for maintaining thefacility to meet regulatory requirements and accountability reporting.Abides by and adheres to all normal safety or security rules and regulationsand reports infractions.May be required to handle, collect, label, and/or transfer hazardouschemical waste following established procedures and guidelines.Responsible for performing custodial and grounds keeping activities andfacilities maintenance functions.Responsible for maintaining a certain standard of cleanliness and sanitationand associated documentation.Responsible for the preparation and implementation of protocols and proceduresinvolving known infectious or potentially infectious agents.May be asked to perform postal handling required to support the companyincluding, but not limited to, processing outgoing mail, sorting anddelivery of incoming mail, and delivery of small packages.OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMay be required to work other shifts.Performs some work outside buildings in adverse weather conditions includingsnow removal.Occasional communication with other departments, outside vendors,contractors, and/or local municipalities regarding such things as bids,proposals, and walk-throughs.May have access to confidential information and must be able to maintainconfidentiality.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSEducationHigh school diploma or GED.ExperienceNo prior experience required.SkillsRequires basic math aptitude.Works independently and is capable of making routine decisions.Ability to inspect own work for accuracy and adherence to policies.Ability to work effectively with other associates and contractors by usinggood interpersonal communication skills.Ability to adapt to changing priorities.Ability to learn and comply with new methods, processes, and policies.Ability to respond with a sense of urgency and work effectively andproductively.Ability to learn to read building layouts and blueprints.Ability to work in high places using ladders or lifts, and to work in tightor confined spaces for extended periods of time.Ability to successfully complete training on biohazards and other regulatoryrequirements.Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use themeffectively.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.-Or-An equivalent competency level acquired through a variation of thesequalifications may be considered.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSGeneral Labor Environment requirements include: use of personal protectiveequipment, reading, speaking, hearing, walking, bending,standing, stretching/reaching, hand/finger dexterity, and occasionallifting up to 50 pounds, or transporting up to 500 pounds via carts ormechanizThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must bemet by an associate to successfully perform the essential du
