Tesco Hiring for Head of Sustainability Job at Dublin , Ireland Full Time

Tesco Ireland are creating a Head of Sustainability role who would own the Tesco Ireland Planet Plan and work cross functionally and in collaboration with leadership teams, in the pursuit of delivery of the plan on behalf of Tesco Ireland.

You will be responsible for

• Leading , developing and delivering our sustainability strategy throughout he business
• Support heads of business functions and Directors within Tesco to deliver an integrated sustainability strategy and demonstrate progress against strategic objectives
• Overseeing and establishing base lines to measure areas and define KPI’s to measure the success of Sustainability strategy.
• Supporting science based targets for Climate, defining reduction opportunities in line with targets.
• Managing relationships with key innovation partners and building new relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.

You will need

• Science based degree & minimum 5 years experience in implementing and managing sustainability programmes
• Experience and a track record in embedding sustainability into a business’s operations and delivering against a strategy .
• Experience in delivering KPIs/ Metrics and baseline to measure the impact of the sustainability agenda.
• Collaboration and networking skills
• Knowledge of sustainability practices and applicable laws and regulations
• The ability to analyse and understand research
• Excellent organisational skills
• Presentation skills
• The ability to make an impact and influence at the most senior level
• Strategic thinking skills
