RoleThe Finance Operation Specialist will report directly to the Finops Supervisor and will assist in the day-to-day activities and various responsibilities pertaining to customer billing, cash application, investigation, reconciliation, and reporting within the organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a fast-paced environment. The ability to meet deadlines and flexibility in handling changing priorities are essential to be successful in this position.ResponsibilitiesResearching and processing incoming requests from internal and external customersAnalyze and validate customer, product, and pricing data for completeness and accuracyValidate and confirm system production data against guaranteed outputInvestigate a resolve issues by reviewing historical transactions, contract data, reverse engineering, and coordination across multiple departmentsAccurate and timely responses to requests from internal customers including accounting, sales, customer care, legal, and senior managementCreate, upload, and modify journal entries into accounting systemGenerate payment requests from several internal departmentsCollaboration with cross functional teams to find new solutions and resolve process related issuesSpecial projects and duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience3-5 years of experience in Finance and/or Operations role preferredYou are a problem-solver, always looking for better ways to get things doneYou’re not afraid of ownership and accountabilityYou approach your work with focus on the big picture, always aware of the effects up and down streamYou think in terms of automation and how processes can be streamlinedAttitude is everything.
