Position Highlights

Work location: (Remote) Physical location is in Arlington Tower.

Work environment: (Remote)

Work hours: Full-time, 40 Hours Weekly, Monday – Friday 8:00a – 5:00pm

Salary range: $27.65 – $43.58 per hour (based on relevant experience)

Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG) is a not-for-profit physician organization with more than 250 locations and 800 physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants dedicated to providing quality care in clinics and medical offices throughout North Texas.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

Bachelors degree within Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related Field (Required)

3 years writing and interactive media experience (Required)

Position Responsibilities- Strong writing skills. Good interpersonal skills. Able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously while managing a project timeline. Able to travel throughout Texas Health service area. Strong knowledge of Microsoft office products. Proficient in social media and strong team player.

Good oral and written communication skills

Research, collect, and write donor and patient-related stories for the Foundation’s communication outlets, including the magazine, newsletter, social media, and annual report

Assist with media relations and communications support in the areas of annual fund, special events, donor relations, and major gift campaign materials

Leverage and monitor social media tools and techniques for fundraising expansion goals

Provide website and social media analytics and recommendations on advancement opportunities

Produce a monthly e-newsletter which involves developing the content, researching and writing the stories, layout and distribution

Edit and proof Foundation content/copy

Create messaging and narrative for various donor channels and sectors

Update Foundation website, Intranet, and Facebook pages as needed

Research and adopt best practices in media and communications fundraising strategies

Manage email platform (i.e. Mailchimp)
