About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a Software Engineering intern to join the team, on an initial contract basis with potential to extend. The role will be supporting the Software Engineering team with our role of update and new software for our client CASIA (The Centre for Advanced Studies in Air Traffic Management) relating to our flagship products.

Under the direction of the team you will be involved with investigations, proposals, defining client requirements, assisting in technology enablement, integration and understanding the human factors aligned with our clients needs. On top of seeing and learning first hand how we incorporate Agile methodology, project management and governance processes to create world class products.

About you?

• 2.5 years into a Tertiary qualification in either Software Engineering, Computer Science or IT/Web/App/Game Development
• Credit Average
• Advanced skills in Javascript/typescript, Java, React, and WebGL
• Exposure and knowledge of Design Patterns; Multi-Touch UIX; Stacks (REST, SSE, Axios, Kotlin, Spring Boot)
• An interest in VR/AR highly desirable.
