The Armour Group Limited Hiring For Building Operator at Halifax, NS Full Time

If you share our values and would like to work with a skilled professional team, Armour is presently seeking a Building Operator to join the growing team at our downtown Halifax properties.

The successful candidate will respond to tenant requests, participate in property preventative maintenance programs, monitor and investigate utility anomalies, oversee contractors and perform maintenance on HVAC equipment. Additional responsibilities include:

• Providing mentoring, guidance and operational support to operations staff across the organization
• Assist in the planning and execution of capital operations in the building
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legislative requirements, policies and practices as may be in force from time to time
• Participate in preparation of building condition reports
• Plan preventative maintenance protocols and budgets
• Liaise with tenants and contractors in a professional manner

The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years’ experience in commercial office building maintenance or operations with a ticket or certificate in a related technical field. You possess great relationship building skills both with tenants and as part of the Operations Team. You have an eagerness to learn and grow with the company.
