About the Role

The Operations Associate supports the day to day operational functions of the organization including but not limited to vendor and contract management, legal and compliance, IT/Tech infrastructure, and HR/People Operations related activities. The ideal candidate for this position is proactive, detail-oriented, an excellent project manager, a strong communicator, and passionate about serving the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational assistance in contract and vendor management, including database management and vendor communications.
• Process all contract agreements, ensure timely receipt and payment processing information is distributed to all vendors.
• Support the Director of Operations as an in-house legal point of contact and liaise with outside counsel to ensure the organization is compliant with its 501(c)(3) status.
• Assist with the creation and development of organizational policies and procedures and provide guidance and support for staff as needed.
• Coordinate with staff to order hardware, troubleshoot operations issues related to tech and IT, and liaise with outside Technology/IT vendor.
• Provide administrative assistance to the Head of People, Talent, and Culture as needed, including research, job postings, onboarding activities, etc.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.

Job Requirements

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or the equivalent of education and relevant work experience.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills: Demonstrated ability to remain organized and on top of ongoing priorities and manage multiple assignments at one time.
• Good verbal communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both external and internal stakeholders.
• Strong virtual communication and collaboration: Efficiency and comfort with Slack and Google Suite, responsiveness via email, and willingness to participate in regular group calls as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Works well under pressure, accomplishing multiple tasks with competing timelines.

Working Hours

• Requires occasional weekend, off-hours, or evening work.

Compensation and Benefits

• TAAF provides competitive compensation and benefits including health insurance (including dental and vision) and a 401k retirement plan to all employees.
• The salary for this role is $75,000.00.
