The company’s goal is to meet the needs of the modern parent-of-today, by delivering a suite of digital services, all hinged on one core principle: evidence-based education. Just over two years from launch, the company operates in five countries, with further geographical expansion planned. The company was founded by two education entrepreneurs and the Head of Education at one of Ireland’s leading maternity hospitals. The Baby Academy is looking for a Social Media Intern to join its Marketing team to aid the company with its rapid growth plans.

Job Description

Roles and responsibilities include and are not limited to:

• Creation of blogs to aid our SEO growth
• Management of in-class competitions
• Moderating of social comments across all social pages and channels
• Edit content videos for use on social pages
• Contribute to content idea generation

• Research social media & marketing trends
• Shadow team members to learn new skills & gain hands-on experience

As well as having a deep and unrelenting passion for social media, to be successful in this role, you’ll need the following:

• A deep desire to work in digital marketing
• Digital marketing savvy and highly creative
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Attention to detail and good organisational skills
• A passion for new technologies and tools and usage of those tools within your own blogs and social media outreach
• Basic technical understanding of web technologies
• A self-starter with initiative who enjoys responsibility

Contract length: 6 months

Salary: €200.00 per week
