Boeing has implemented a new COVID-19 Vaccination Policy in Australia that requires all new Boeing Australia hires to show proof of being fully vaccinated from COVID-19, or have an approved medical exception by 3 December 2021. For Victorian based employees, the compliance date is 26 November 2021.
All other global Boeing locations do not have a vaccination requirement at this time.

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security’s Production Engineering Team is seeking an Experienced Material Review Board (MRB) Liaison Engineer for multiple programs. The successful candidate will implement a broad knowledge of Boeing design and/or engineering principles to assess the product/processes and resolve the issues to achieve ultimate customer satisfaction. Be a part of a highly motivated team, which is building products used by the customers around the world. This level 4 position is based in St. Louis, Missouri.
Position Responsibilities
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Leads research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions.
Leads others to analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for design non-conformances.
Develops and implements product/process improvements. Uses innovative approaches and unique applications to address complex nonconforming conditions and to detect deviations.
Analyzes reported problems for potential safety issues; recommends and manages complex resolution.
Leads develop of interim and final solutions. Provides design phase subject matter expertise by supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participating in design reviews.
Represents the engineering community in the build through post production environment. Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
Develops customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
Leads activities for on-site disabled product repair teams and accident investigation or support teams.
Leads the design of interim structural repairs and conducts static strength analysis.
Develops and leads non-destructive test procedures, tools and standards. Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
Develops and implements technical training curriculum for internal or external customers.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
( ability to obtain Secret Clearance post-start).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering (ABET preferred).
More than 5+ years’ of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
More than 3 years of experience with Material Review Board (MRB).
Preferred Qualifications ( Desired Skills / Experience )
Engineering Degree from (ABET preferred).
Experience developing new processes.
Experience working with Defense customers.
Experience with any of the following: Team Center, NX, IVT, MES, Gold, Aurora, VisMockup, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Im-Dev.
Typical Education / Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
