Boeing’s Product Support and Services IT organization has an opening for a Portfolio Test Lead to support the Training Initiative Management Solutions portfolio. The candidate will integrate with Management Solutions product teams to define the testing framework, generate and execute automated test scenarios, test cases, test plans and test scripts in support of the verification and validation of the solution.
The Portfolio Test Lead will develop standards/strategy/best practices that can then flow that vision down to the test team. The Test Lead is also expected to have the ability to get “in the weeds” developing the test scripts and plans as necessary. The lead must be well versed with automated testing frameworks like Cucumber and Selenium.
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
QA lead is that will develop the framework/standards/strategy/best practices that can be applied across the portfolio and individual products.
Work with product teams to generate and execute automated test scenarios, test cases, test plans and test scripts
Write test plans
Provide user story estimations for testing activities
Define and maintain automation tests
Perform automated and manual test execution
Report risks and issues back to the team

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
5+ years of experience in Software testing using Automation Frameworks – Cucumber / Gherkin / Eclipse / IntelliJ / Java / Selenium / JUnit / NUnit (unit testing in general) / ADO
Excellent Analytic skills and good knowledge of testing processes
5+ years of experience with hands-on experience in automation testing in general (unit, integration, and functional)
5+ years of experience with CI/CD, TDD/BDD
Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):
Critical thinking + problem solving skills
Actively participates, is team oriented and is eager to help others
Experience with SAFe Agile development methodologies
Experience with functional and non-functional testing (estimation, test case development, test planning, test execution, defect lifecycle management, test reporting etc.).
Experience using JMeter
Self-starter, can work independently with a sense of ownership
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Familiar with repositories (Git, branching, pushes, pulls, commits, etc.
Typical Education/Experience: Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 7 or more years’ or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Relocation: This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Shift: This position is for 1st shift.

Salary Range: $110,500-$159,850
