The Butler’s Pantry is looking for a Team Leader for our Food Packing Team in our artisan production facility, in Bray, Co Wicklow.

The role of the food packing team leader is to provide day to day leadership and supervision of all elements of order processing, order fulfilment, dispatch, distribution and will be actively involved in our program for High Standards and Continuous Improvement. The food operation team leader will also assist with preparation, portioning and packing of food as well as routine cleaning and housekeeping. The position will also involve record-keeping and basic food safety responsibilities.

Hours of Work: This candidate will work shifts five days out of seven, and you must be available to work varied shifts between 5 am-9 pm. Shifts will obviously vary due to the nature of our business during seasonal busy periods.

The ideal candidate must be able to travel for the early shift at 5 am to the Bray production facility.

The Role

• In your role as Production Supervisor, you will oversee the day to day running of our production kitchen. You will be directly responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production and our core product ranges.
• In this role, you will work closely with the Chefs, operations manager and food production team.

• Ensure all food items and products are stored, prepared and packaged in accordance with company procedures.
• Oversee, support, supervise, and motivate the kitchen team
• Maintaining appropriate inventory levels and conducting weekly and monthly inventories

• Lead all aspects of food production from preparation through to packaging, storage and dispatch.
• Maintain a clean work environment in accordance with our HACCP plan
• Schedule rosters for the kitchen packing teams.
• Support leadership team by providing timely feedback about kitchen issues, suggestions for improvements and sharing product ideas

Requirements/Experience:

• High level of IT skills.
• A minimum 2 years experience in food production
• Knowledge of HACCP procedures – HACCP Level 5 trained a bonus
• Experience in managing small teams
• Great organisational skills

• Ability to plan food production and execute at a high level

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €27,000.00-€30,000.00 per year
