A Library Assistant job is available with the City of Fort Worth Library Department. The Library is seeking to hire two outgoing, creative Library Assistants for the Northwest Branch. Two positions are available. One is full time (40 hours per week) and one is part time (20 hours per week). The ideal candidate is customer-focused, enthusiastic about bringing library services to the community, and comfortable working with diverse populations including people of all ages, backgrounds, dispositions, and abilities. The purpose of this position is to provide exemplary service to customers, including answering basic reference and readers’ advisory questions, designing and implementing high-interest programs, workshops, and classes, and providing technology support and instruction.
