The Clorox Company Australia & New Zealand Looking for Category Analyst at Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

The Category Analyst will be the analytical lead of the selected categories in the Australia retail channel and will provide analytical support to the Category team as well as cross functional teams including Sales & Marketing. This role also ensures that all syndicated data is delivered, and reports are updated on time in full to meet business needs.

This individual will provide actionable insights on ongoing basis through detailed analysis of multiple data sources including market, category, competitors, customers, and shoppers to ignite category & brands growth, identify growth opportunities and risks and formulate appropriate recommendations to drive sustainable growth of the category and Clorox business.

Who You Are

The successful candidate will be a strong team player who likes the autonomy and authority to establish and drive actionable insights driven approach within Clorox that helps informs category, brand, innovation, and customer/channel strategies that drive business growth.

Challenges of the role include managing ambiguity and multiple tasks; and using influencing skills with a view to steer business to achieve strategic goals and be able to effectively liaise with all levels of stakeholder groups.

• 3 + years understanding of category and insights
• Strong analytical ability – can turn data into insights.
• Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Experience in using syndicated data (both scan and shopper).
• Experience in planogram shelf programs (Apollo or JDA)
• Effective planning and prioritization
• High attention to detail in a complex and changing environment
• Ability to multitask
• A go getter / someone who wants to make a difference / is willing to have a voice and opinions
