Today we are looking for a Resource Allocation Director to join our team and help continue our history of growth in Latin America region.
In this position, you will be responsible for resource (DME, DFR, OPEX, CAPEX, among others) allocation thought leadership across the Operating Unit (OU) including implementing the global resource allocation strategy in the OU as well as develop and implement the OU resource allocation strategy. In addition, the role provides guidance on System cost allocation across all resources and act as a primary contact for Marketing and our Franchise teams.
What You’ll Do for Us:
- Manage and be responsible for Operating Unit’s (OU) US$1.2 Billion in Direct Marketing Investments (DMI) and oversight responsibility for Bottler DMI investments ensuring consistency in approach, analysis of returns and business performance tracking.
- Drive focus, understanding and use of marketing and investment ROI analysis tools and metrics across all investments – KO and Bottler; embedding a culture of clear financial responsibility in every budget owner.
- Provide resource re-allocations recommendations across the OU, Zones and Franchises, as well as across categories and brands, always based on fact based financial data to support the investment decisions.
- Communicate to management business performance against specific KBIs.
- Lead and coordinate the DMI Resource Allocation process across the OU and support the alignment of DMI investments with Franchise Units and Bottling Partners.
- Provide and explain key business and performance metrics to system (KO and bottler) business leaders to allow proactive and timely investments decisions, including reallocations of funds
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with budget-owners, mostly outside of finance, and align on the primary goal of maximizing investment returns
- Coordinate with Platform Services to drive operating effectiveness within the OU by improving data, tools and processes
- Lead and coordinate the DMI Zero Based Budgeting process across the OU, generating guidelines for DMI allocations at Zones and Franchise Units.
- Recommend alternatives for the OU to meet or exceed its Business Plan and Rolling Estimate commitments, including adjustment of investment decisions based on business performance and returns.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- +10 years of finance experience in financial planning, budgeting and commercial finance, preferably working as a partner with bottlers or a similar Franchise system
- Must be able to build collaborative and strong relationships with budget-owners, mostly outside of finance, and align on the primary goal of maximizing investment returns and creation of value for the company and the bottlers
- Travel requirements: 25% of travel required
