- Duties will include, but not limited to:
· Getting food ingredients together to help the chefs in preparation for cooking and serving
· Collecting pots and pans in preparation for cooking food ingredients and assisting the chefs
· Weighing, measuring and preparing ingredients including washing, peeling, cutting, slicing ingredients ready to be cooked and served
· washing down work areas and equipment to keep the kitchen clean and tidy
· learning how to store food properly, prepare food properly and cook food to a good standard. On the job training will be provided so you can fully understand and learn the role of a chef and the kitchen service
- no experience required however some experience in a kitchen or dealing with food would be an advantage
