This post is responsible for all aspects of pre andpost registration training for pharmacy staff; from undergraduate activities linked to Universities, trainee pharmacists and technicians, delivering the “Step-up” programme for junior pharmacists, developing clinical technician roles, developing staff along the advanced pharmacist curricula, supporting the pharmacist prescriber strategy and make consultant pharmacist roles a reality!
We are looking for a pharmacist with extensive post-graduate clinical experience, with the skills and passion for workforce development, education and teaching.

The post holder is the Pharmacy lead for education, training and development of pharmacy staff across the directorate, and responsible for the planning and delivery of prescribing and medicines education and training for medical graduates in collaboration with the postgraduate education team.
The post holder has overall leadership responsibility for pre and post registration training for Pharmacy staff, ensuring the standards set down by Health Education england (HEE), GPhC, Trust and Pharmacy directorate are met. This includes:
The post holder plans, organises and delivers training and education for Undergraduate Health Professionals and Post-Graduate Pharmacists, Nurses, postgraduate Doctors and Technicians.
