The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking a Prescription Plan Design & Escalations Analyst for a prominent client of ours. This position is REMOTE in Arizona. Details for the position are as follows:

📍 Remote (AZ-based)

⏰ Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM AZ time

📅 Contract through 12/31

💵 Pay Rate: $27/hour (W2)

💼 Department: Pharmacy Claims / Plan Design

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Prescription Plan Design & Escalations Analyst (Level 1) to support our pharmacy benefit team. This contract role will be focused on researching and resolving claim issues related to overapplied accumulations and processing reimbursements and adjustments. This position is ideal for someone with a background in pharmacy or medical claims, strong critical thinking skills, and a knack for solving complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and resolve claims with overapplied accumulations
• Process adjustments and reimbursements accurately and efficiently
• Review claim data and apply analytical thinking to identify discrepancies
• Perform basic Excel tasks (sorting, formulas, filters) to organize and analyze claim data
• Enter and maintain accurate records in tracking systems and spreadsheets
• Collaborate with internal team members and participate in team meetings
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies

Qualifications:

• Experience with pharmacy or medical claims processing or PBM (e.g., RxClaim platform)
• Basic Excel skills (formulas, sorting, filters; no pivot tables or advanced functions required)
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to think critically to resolve claim issues
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong time management skills
• Data entry experience is a plus
• Prior healthcare or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry experience preferred
• Candidates must be based in Arizona.
