We believe that education is one of our strongest tools for success which is why we are accelerating and cementing our status as the gold standard by revolutionizing the way training and education is delivered across the nail and beauty industry.

As Education Director you will be report to the Chief Customer Officer and be responsible for developing the overarching strategy and ambitious road map of growth for global education here at The Gel Bottle and with external partners. You will be required to balance achieving ambitious revenue targets with an unwavering creative vision and passion for developing education.

There are big plans in place to further disrupt our consumer offering and to disrupt in new categories. You will be responsible for ensuring that we consider the specifics of how we build the customer into all of this. We are a fast-paced organisation as will this role!

Professional Expertise

The successful candidate will preferably have experience of working in a Founder led organisation but this is not essential. What is more important, is that you have been leading education at a senior level either in the UK or across a territory for a global beauty or wellness brand and understand that education is the thread that connects all aspects of our business. Additionally, you recognise the nuances between accredited curriculum based training and standard sales and product training. You have proven abilities in driving both sales and leading cross functional teams and come with excellent communication, leadership and coaching skills.

Main responsibilities

• You will develop the strategy that sets the gold standard for training and education within the nail industry for both accredited curriculum and product & sales based training
• Integrate a digital first platform for education that balances the needs of classroom based accredited training also.
• Develop high level strategic brand and commercial partnerships with a bias on education that will firmly position The GelBottle inc as being the leader in its field.
• Constant evaluation of feedback and how we can use it to evolve our programmes and curriculum
• Expand our education network and become a leader for change within the industry.
• Oversee the Training & Education Manager’s creation and deployment of content
• Track the sales performance of The Academy both in the UK & Globally against budget
• Collaborate with Director of People & Talent and Head of Customer Experience to improve how we onboard and educate our internal team to continually improve employee engagement and improve customer feedback metrics
• Explore innovative and impactful new ways of delivering education

There may well be an element of travel involved in this role, so a willingness to travel is desired.

• Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with others to achieve goals

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £85,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
