Activity Aide

Colonial Park is now hiring an Energetic & Passionate Activity Aid for our Skilled Nursing Facility. Part-time 5pm-8pm and

1 weekend a month

Duties Include:

• Implement activities programs for Residents; focus on individual interests.

• Work directly with Residents on units; without direct supervision.

• Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as requested.

• Assist recreation specialists & set up program areas as needed.

• Keep daily attendance and document residents’ participation in activities.

• Assist residents to program location and return residents to appropriate units.

• Be familiar with established emergency procedures.

Requirements Include:

• Preferred Exp. with activities in a healthcare settings

• 18+ with High School Diploma or equivalency

• Clean driver’s license

• Previous experience with Geriatric population preferred

• Basic computer skills necessary

• Positive attitude and energy is a must!!

• Willingness to drive small passenger bus for resident outings

• Ability to work effectively as a team member

• Strong organizational & planning skills; ability to multi-task
