Data Analyst

The HT Group is working with a thriving customer in the B2C and B2B / eCommerce industry looking for a motivated and talented analyst to work cross-functionally across

the organization. This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity to apply the latest data tools to all areas of our business and have a significant impact on an ecommerce company experiencing

rapid growth.

The Data Analyst will work as part of a close-knit and nimble analytics team that provides mission-critical intelligence and decision support to the company’s executives, with significant

influence over the day-to-day business operations. As a member of the team you will be expected to facilitate collaboration with key stakeholders both on the team and off. As an

analyst at a small but growing company with terabytes of data, you will have the opportunity to make a big impact from day one.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver information that changes how we think about the performance of our business
• Own relationships between the team and key stakeholders, helping to prioritize, staff, and run projects across months or quarters (but sometimes days or weeks)
• Audit our existing reporting, refining and rebuilding where necessary
• Partner within the team, providing your perspective on all areas of the business, and helping us understand second-order effects
• Develop and perform preliminary exploratory analysis with data, both internal and external

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to jump into a fast-paced environment, ramp on the business quickly, and contribute as soon as possible (days or weeks, not months)
• A strong verbal communicator, with an appetite to present directly to executives
• A Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of professional or experience, OR Master’s degree (or MBA) AND 1-2 years of professional experience
• Experience working in e-commerce, operations research, supply chain management, and/or logistics; other related industries okay
• Expert abilities in SQL
• Experience with with Python highly preferred
• Ability to work on a tight deadline
