Administrative Assistant Position (Virtual)

The Joshua Generation Care and Consultant Services, LLC is seeking part-time to full-time Administrative Assistants. Administrative Assistants will work Monday- Saturday between 10-20 hours per week. The Administrative Assistant will support the front and back end of our business, including scheduling client calls, billing, client support, and ensuring our staff is supported. This position requires an experienced mental health administrative office assistant to help operate our busy and growing counseling practice in metro Atlanta. The right candidate will be responsible for handling the day-to-day office operations. As a virtual office assistant, you will be required to model excellent organizational skills including demonstrating the ability to perform well in stressful situations. The position also requires some knowledge of mental health issues and terminology as well as operating a mental health office. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure a steady workflow and uninterrupted service in our counseling facilities. The ideal candidate must have very strong administrative skills, be highly organized, and be able to handle a growing virtual counseling practice.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee the daily functions of the office
• Ability to schedule appointments for our counselors in a professional manner
• Answering phones and providing basic knowledge of our counseling services.
• Implement and execute office policies and procedures
• Maintaining confidential medical and staff records
• Providing reports for billing and other operational duties as assigned
• Scheduling and verifying client appointments online and by phone
• Verifying insurance by phone and/or within our system
• Ability to understand and maintain the confidentiality of client identity, including records and personal information

Minimum Requirements:

· Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

· Knowledge of mental health services and terminology

· Knowledge of medical billing and scheduling preferred

· Ability to multitask and make critical decisions

· Ability to work independently

· Ability to pass a criminal record check

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
