The Lincoln Hotel is seeking team members to join the Operations team of the newly renovated Lincoln Mill in downtown Biddeford!

We are seeking Housekeepers who are passionate, reliable, and fun. Previous experience in housekeeping is required. Full-time, experienced candidates with open availability will be considered.

JOB SUMMARY

This position has overall responsibility for taking care of our facilities, carrying out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition to leave a great first impression on our guests! This position will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, the lobby, the public areas and all back-of-house housekeeping closets.

CORE FOCUS & ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform daily cleaning of guest rooms to Lincoln hotel standards.
• Uphold cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards.
• Monitor weekly stock levels of all housekeeping supplies including cleaning chemicals, and cleaning tools.
• Monitor all weekly stock levels of guest amenities on a weekly basis, including shampoo, conditioner, soap, tissues, coffee, bottled water, etc.
• Maintain equipment in good condition.
• Report on any shortages, damages or security issues.
• Leave all housekeeping closets fully stocked and organized for the next day.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Flexibility. This is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours.
• Experience. Previous hospitality experience providing exceptional guest experience required.
• Knowledge. Proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling and usage of equipment.
• Communication skills. The ability to effectively communicate verbally is valued.
• People Person. Being a successful team member means you love working with your teammates and solving problems.
