Position Overview

As an HR Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring we have the best team in the business. You will work closely with the finance, operations and marketing teams ensure roles are properly sourced, employees are onboarded, and paperwork is submitted with compliance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company while honing your HR + recruiting skills in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Onboard new employees and assist in ensuring hiring compliance
• Interviewing potential applicants regarding their skills, experience and education
• Contacting references and performing background checks on applicants
• Informing applicants about position details, including working conditions, benefits and duties
• Conducting or helping with new employee orientation
• Helping process paperwork and employment records
• Maintain personal relationships with candidates throughout the entire recruitment and employment process

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in organizational behavior or similar field
• 4+ years experience in an HR or recruiting role, preferably with a start-up or small business
• Familiarity with HR related tools including: applicant tracking system, people software, social media, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Self-directed and organized
