The Ottawa Hospital Looking for Administrative Assistant at Ottawa, ON Full Time

Please note that this is a University of Ottawa Medical Associates position. The successful candidate to this vacancy will be an employee of the University of Ottawa Medical Associates and not The Ottawa Hospital.

Basic Requirements

Post-secondary degree or diploma, or equivalent

Three to five years of previous related administrative experience;

Knowledge of medical terminology;

Strong knowledge of MS Office with intermediate skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint;

Excellent organizational and time management skills;

Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision;

Good judgement, initiative and excellent interpersonal skills;

Experience booking appointments, consultations, procedures and filing patients reports.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using EPIC.;

Proficiency in English and French – oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).

Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position and the level of interaction with French and English-speaking clients.
