The Recruitment Project Looking for Digger Operator / Cabling Trainee at Onehunga, Auckland Full Time

The Company

Our client is a medium to large sized organisation that specialises in the provision of business telecommunications and data cabling services. 

What we’re looking for:-

• We’re looking for a person with some proven digger operation experience
• You don’t need a WTR license as the employer will provide training for this if you would like to upskill.
• Ideally you’ll be able to read plans and know how to identify underground services
• You need to be willing to do a variety of related tasks and help out with general cable laying

What we’re offering

• The company will pay you a very good hourly rate depending on your level of experience.($26 – $32 per hour)
• A normal four day work week – (full 40+ hours) – so it’s an average 10 hours per day – Usually 7am – 5.30pm each day Monday to Thursday.
• Some Friday / Saturday overtime work will be available.
• Training and upskilling is encouraged and will be supported

What you’ll need:-

• A clean full driver’s license
• Your own reliable transport
• To be able to pass our drug screening process
• To be able to pass MOJ / Police Record check
• (It would be an advantage if you already have license endorsements for wheels tracks rollers, HT, Hi-ab, or Truck License class 2 or 4)
