The Roofing Store Hiring for Folder Operator Job at Hamilton Full Time

Your role will be operating slitting and folding machinery in a manufacturing environment. You will be motivated and have strong decision making, problem solving and numerical skills.

About the Role:

• For this role you will need experience in folding sheet metal flashing for roofing products
• Performing all functions setting up and operating folding machine
• Operating slitter and folder to process flashings in the manufacturing industry producing ‘Flashings’
• Monitoring and managing stock levels.
• Good skills in interpenetrating drawings
• Supporting excellent quality control within the production process
• Monday to Friday with the possibility of overtime.

Ideally you will possess the following:

• Worked with the same or similar programmable/CNC Folder Machinery
• A current Forkhoist License & Gantry Crane experience
• Roofing & steel handling knowledge – essential
• Ability to follow instructions, takes pride in your work and strong attention to detail
• Sound verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable transport to and from work
• Quality driven attitude
• Work well in a team
• Take pride & ownership for the finish product
• Ability to work to deadline
