OVERVIEW:

The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible to the Business Administrator by performing specific administrative functions related to accounts receivable, compiling and submitting fiscal reimbursement reports to contract providers, and banking.

DUTIES:

Accounts Receivables:

• Maintain financial records for each resident and issue late fee reminders, conducting follow up as needed.
• Close out and balance Accounts Payable Clerk’s cash drawer
• Prepare Bank Deposits for Brinks pickup.
• Process donations, account reimbursements, and other funds.
• Double-check invoice submissions for accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with policy.
• Verify Food Stamp (FS) program balances.

Billing & Reporting:

• Prepare and mail billings for Kaiser Permanente clients upon completion of contract-related treatment phase.
• Verify the accuracy of veterans’ client sign-in logs and process monthly VA invoices for the several VA Grant and Per Diem (GPO) contracts and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) contract.

Other Responsibilities:

• Attend weekly Staff Meetings.
• Provide assistance with annual budget and audit preparation.
• Provide assistance and perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to handle crisis/emergency situations and maintain a non-judgmental attitude required.
• Ability to understand, hear, talk, receive, follow oral and written English instructions required.
• Maintain confidentiality, have flexibility, good people skills and be cooperative.
• Must be organized, self-motivated, dependable and detail oriented.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (i.e., Excel, Word, and Access).
