The Staffing Group Hiring for Applications Developers Job at Geelong, Australia Full Time

We are looking for experienced Applications Developers to join our Core Systems team. These are full time positions on 12 month contracts. Positions are based in our new Geelong offices, with flexible work options available for our team.

About the role

The Core Systems team is a cross-functional team of passionate application professionals responsible for the design, delivery, integration, and ongoing support & management of the core business applications serving the needs of our staff and their customers.

Within this role youll be responsible for the design, development, implementation and ongoing support and maintenance of new or modified applications and integration solutions. Working closely with both customers and technical teams, the Application Developer will process users needs, define specifications to meet standards, and write high-quality code to deliver on the solution requirements.

About You

As our ideal candidate, youll demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• 3+ years experience in a software or integration development environment
• Experience developing and managing API applications using REST/JSON, Web Services
• Experience working with Azure API Management, .NET Web API, OAUTH2
• Experience working with MSSQL Server
• Experience working with GIT source control
• Demonstrated understanding and application of integration architecture patterns
• Strong understanding of application and API security controls and methodologies
• Excellent collaborator, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills
• Able to work effectively and flexibly in a changing environment
• Natural inclination to identify and evaluate continuous improvement opportunities

Highly desirable

• Demonstrated experience with C#, .net, .net core
• Demonstrated experience leading an agile cross-functional team
• Microsoft Dynamics CRM development/administration
• Microsoft Dynamics Power Platform
• Azure Integration Services (Event Grid, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Function Apps)
• DevOps practices, building CI/CD pipelines and configuration management
• Agile / Scrum / Lean development practices
• Private Health Insurance industry and/or financial services industry experience
