A leading R&D company based in Canberra are looking to hire multiple embedded software engineers following a successful past 12 months. There are mid-level and senior positions available.

This is an Australian outfit producing high-quality products that impact everyday life on a global scale. They seek C++ engineers that are keen to push the boundaries within a safety-critical environment.

The ideal engineer will possess 5+ years working with embedded systems and be comfortable with low-level development.

You will have knowledge or a keen interest in machine learning or computer vision.

This is a non-defence position, so you do not need to be a citizen of Australia to apply. Interstate candidates are welcome to apply.

Requirements:

• 5-10+ years of embedded software development experience
• Strong knowledge of C++
• Knowledge of embedded Linux or Baremetal platforms (x86 or ARM)
• Knowledge of machine learning and/or computer vision algorithms desirable
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Position suitable for permanent residents and citizens of Australia
