The Staffing Group Hiring for Full Stack Developer | Software Engineer Job at Sydney, Australia Full Time

As a Full Stack Developer you will participate in the architecture, design, and development of services to reduce manual effort and improve customer experience. You will be involved in implementing the end-to-end implementation of new solutions, beginning with high level ideas, working with our team of engineers and SMEs to build requirements, iterating development from MVP through to delivery.

We value good software development practices and are looking for the right candidate to join the team. As a developer you will work with our product owner, tech lead and the team to help prioritise our backlog, participate in code reviews and implement solutions.

We anticipate for you to succeed in this role you will have:

• experience working with Typescript/JavaScript for the frontend and backend (React/NodeJS)
• experience with designing and implementing REST APIs
• experience with database development (Postgres)
• experience with unit and integration testing (Jest)
• experience with AWS stack
• experience with Git
• participate in the team’s agile rituals to give updates and work collaborative with the team
• high levels of commercial acumen, communication skills & work towards continuous improvement.

Desirable skills:

• experience with JIRA and Confluence
• experience with AWS serverless compute technologies
• experience or understanding of SOAP APIs
• understanding of microservices architecture and design
• experience with deploying container technologies (Docker)
• experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo).
