This Senior Engineer role will require a mix of people and technical management skills.

As Java Software Engineer you are:
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, technologically curious and you’ll bring experience with software engineering best practice. To be successful in this role, you’ll need experience with object-oriented programming, architecture and design patterns coupled with an understanding of XP. This is a great opportunity to showcase your programming skills and apply it to a range of enterprise software development projects. You’ll be considered a technical leader capable of mentoring a small cross functional team and driving engineering culture.

• Work within the team to develop enterprise software
• Develop high level, quality code that meets project requirements
• Implement complex features
• Mentor other developers
• Architect new software systems
• Write automated unit tests where appropriate
• Participate in Agile ceremonies
• Accurately estimate and review development activities

What you will bring to the role:

• Expert level OO programming experience using Java
• Experience with Microservices
• Exposure to Kubernetes or Docker
• Experience with React
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot
• Exposure to Kotlin advantageous
• A dedicated customer first mentality
• A passion for well architected, elegant Mobile & Web applications
• Experience developing RESTful API’s
• Experience working in an Agile environment
