The Client:

This is a golden opportunity for a Senior Java Software Engineer to help build new features and enhancements with their products and be an integral part of their high performance, internationally recognized

What your exciting days will look like and the initiatives:

• You will participate in the full software development life cycle of systems through to projects delivery.
• Analysis, proposing, building, testing, fixing and integrating the new software, as well as enhancements of currently built solutions.
• Analysis and improving the performance, scalability, and reliability of the platform.
• You will be working within an expert team that is spread across AU, UK, US, Canada and Asia.

The must have skills and experience are:-

• Trading Platform experience
• Core Java
• Low Latency
• Unix/Linux

Your other awesome skills & experience:-

• Extensive experience as a Java Engineer and/or similar position.
• Strong knowledge of test driven development.
• Delivering well-thought out, clean code, helping team scale to support business growth.
• Experience in building scalable and distributed systems.
• 
  Knowledge in FX trading or any markets trading (equities, commodities).
• Good knowledge of Linux.
• Proficient with SQL.
• Multi-threading.
