The Role

This is an exciting new opportunity in our Software Quality Assurance Team to join us in creating industry-leading products.

We are looking for someone to work in the software quality team, alongside software and product development groups, to improve our products and ensure they meet strict functional, performance and quality requirements.

At our office in Fairfield VIC, you will be working alongside a great team that is integral to our success. If you enjoy collaborative work, thinking through challenging problems, and finding ways to improve how we do things, then this role will suit you well.

This is a graduate or early career position for a bright and enthusiastic candidate with good analytical and communication skills.

If you have come from a QA or Software/Hardware Testing background this would be highly regarded.

What you would do

The main activities you would perform include:

• analysis of device, software and system requirements
• the preparation and execution of test plans and protocols
• management of product defects and reporting on the status of these defects
• the preparation of test reports

Training and skill development will be provided in the following areas:

• Medical Device/Safety Critical Software Development Process and Methods
• ISO 13485/62304 QA
• Unit Testing and Black Box Testing
• Medical Device Platforms

The role will develop your skills in software testing, as well as quality assurance systems and procedures.

Professional Requirements

Excellent spoken and written English is essential.

Australian citizen or Australian Resident status must exist at time of application.

You will be creative, self motivated and able to work to deadlines and schedules.

You will have a demonstrated approach to documentation, clear thinking and problem solving.

A background in Engineering or Computer Science would be ideal
