Accounting Assistant

The Storage Manager is now hiring an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team. Responsibilities of this position include assisting the Accounting Specialist with day-to-day financial transactions, performing accounts payable and accounts receivable, preparing bank deposits, completing purchase orders, and maintaining client files. Ultimately, you will help our Finance & Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain QuickBooks accounts
• Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
• Close out general ledger
• Prepare bank deposits
• Track client expenses
• Check spreadsheets for accuracy
• Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records
• Make purchases, place orders, and prepare shipments for delivery
• Assist in client utility transfers
• Complete PCI Compliance
• Other administrative financial tasks as needed

Requirements:

· Work experience in accountancy, finance, or bookkeeping (preferred)

· Hands-on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks) (preferred)

· Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors

· Attention to detail

· Teamwork skills

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· The ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines

· Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour
