Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We are seeking a new International Student Recruitment specialist, internally referred to as an International Manager to join our International Office. As an International Manager you responsible for developing and implementing recruitment plans to grow effective recruitment channels, partnerships and student applications and enrolments in key markets, working closely with faculty.
Whilst we remain firmly committed to our regional community, we are determined to deliver against ambitious international strategic priorities, the major objective of this exciting opportunity.
You will also play a critical role within the International Office itself, contributing to the development of strategic and annual operational plans, managing agent aggregator and other EdTech recruitment platforms to support international student recruitment targets, and raising brand awareness and direct customer preference in the designated markets.
You will build key relationships with offshore education agencies, identifying opportunities that will aid with the growth and diversification of the international student population at the University of Auckland while meeting University targets and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions and trends. You will join a high performing International Managers team that contributes to the University’s International Strategy and its objectives at an exciting time as we implement our re-engagement strategy.

Please note this is a permanent, full time (37.5 hours/ week) position, with a salary range of $90,000 – $101,000 depending on skills and experience.
