The job manages a range of programs, events, and student activities. Develops and implements orientation programming for incoming students and other programming that fosters student communities. Performs analysis of financial operations that support all recognized student organizations with minimal guidance from others.
n
nResponsibilities n
n
n
+ Leads and assists in the design and facilitation of leadership training for new student leaders including conference and event planning, trips and treks, corporate sponsorship and alumni relations, and calendar planning.
n
+ Works with student leaders to ensure that they are in compliance with the University’s policies regarding fund raising and use of group funds.
n
+ Liaise with student groups for sponsorship solicitation, securing of funds, tracking and record-keeping.
n
+ Manages student group conference and programming calendars.
n
+ Acts as a resource to student leaders through all aspects of event planning for conferences, panels, networking, and career presentations, including contract processing and on-site event coordination.
n
+ Manages the miscellaneous student funding opportunities such as case competitions, Investment Management fund, etc.
n
+ Develops and implements Full-Time MBA Program wide-events, including but not limited to, ReOrientation, Convocation, Treks/Trips, Orientation, and Celebration.
n
+ Assists with Spring Convocation Weekend, a celebratory weekend for graduates and their guests by organizing social events, receptions, mock classes, and faculty involvement.
n
+ Engages Career Services, Alumni Relations and Advancement, Corporate Relations, and the Evening/Weekend Program office in the transition and progression of student leaders each academic year.
n
+ Guides students and staff to develop and implement activities, programs, and initiatives related to student life, and/or community involvement.
n
+ Uses in-depth knowledge and experience to recommend concepts for programming to leaders of various organizations and pro rams.
n
+ Performs other related work as needed.
