The Wistar Institute has an opening for a highly motivated researcher to join the laboratory of Dr. Hildegund Ertl as a Staff Scientist. This is a part-time, benefit eligible position.Â
Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent degree and at least 5 years of postdoctoral experience. The studies performed in the Ertl lab involve experiments mouse and human cells, various viruses, assays to assess T cell functions, assays to quantitate expression of transcripts, and protein detection by Western Blot analyses. Knowledge in basic chemistry, statistical data analyses and good laboratory practices (GLP) is required.
The Wistar Institute is located in the University City area of Philadelphia, in the heart of the University of Pennsylvania Campus.
