Thermo Fisher Scientific Looking for Material Handler at Penrose, Auckland Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

Storage control:

• Packing of manufactured products, completion of Batch Manufacturing Records ( BMRs)

Inwards and Exports:

• Loading and unloading of shipments
• Checking goods for damage and discrepancies in order
• Labelling
• Picking and packing of goods for customer orders
• Data entry
• Continuous Improvement

Other Duties:

• Assist other team members as and when required
• Cyclic stock taking as required, special projects and other requests as determined from time to time
• Contribute to process improvement teams
• General housekeeping and keeping areas clean and tidy

How will you get here and what will put you ahead of competition?

• Previous warehouse/logistics experience, particularly in GMP environment
• Ability and willingness to work under different temperatures including cold-room and/or freezer room
• Ability to communicate well
• Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets, and inventory systems and desire to learn new technology
• Meticulous and high attention to detail
• Flexibility is required in work hours
• Disciplined, thorough, methodical and systematic
• Great at multitasking and prioritization
• Customer focused
• Proven team building and team participation skills
• Full Drivers license, and able to drive a manual vehicle
• Fork hoist license with F endorsement on full license

Education:

Year 12 or above is preferred although not essential
