Job Title: Data Entry Associate

Report To: Financial Advisor

Job Status: Full-time

PURPOSE

The purpose of the Data Entry Associate is to facilitate the work of Division 4 team members. The role is responsible for behind-the-scenes support in updating client’s financial data for case development and maintaining accurate records and ensuring our investment models are accurate. They provide service to the team through the execution of these data-driven administrative tasks with the purpose of delivering an exceptional client experience. The Data Entry Associate specializes in facilitating a peaceful and confidence-boosting experience for clients and the team. They help ensure that Thimbleberry Financial is an efficient and organized office allowing the advisors to focus on building client relationships, and the financial planning and operations teams to create and implement their products and services.

DUTIES OF THE DATA ENTRY ASSOCIATE:

GENERAL

• Administer all areas of client service including but not limited to:
• Support the financial planning team by processing (reviewing, entering, updating) data, from investment statements, paystubs, tax returns and notes, with the purpose of maintaining accurate financial planning data at all times
• Facilitate the creation of financial plans by tracking changes made within clients’ planning records and identifying gaps
• Ensure model portfolios are up to date in our portfolio evaluation and proposal software
• Process changes to any address, phone, email, and employment records
• Assist with the calculation and updating of suitability for clients and maintain records
• Process and record all transactions on appropriate logs
• Update and maintain relationship management system
• Find opportunities to take-on appropriate tasks from other Division 4 team members
• Maintain a clean and orderly office environment
• Obtain working industry knowledge and overall familiarity with relevant internal and Broker-Dealer resources
• Act as back-up to Associate in closing out appointments and processing vault downloads from eMoney

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 – $18.00 per hour
