Thirsty Camel Ltd Looking for Territory Manager – Christchurch at Christchurch Central, Canterbury Full Time

Start 2023 with the best in the business and join our team of liquor industry experts with your experience as a skilled Territory Manager in Christchurch. You will be representing Thirsty Camel’s premium spirits, liqueurs and mixers portfolio with leading products; Aperol, Campari, Kraken, Gran Centenario, Shanky’s Whip, Fever-Tree and more.  This role has come about due to growth in the industry and new brands Appleton Estate, Coruba and Wild Turkey joining Thirsty Camel in the new year. 

Established in 2004, Thirsty Camel imports and distributes premium brands and leads the way with their innovative approach to customer service. 

Your attitude and ability to sell will be second to none. Your proven experience as a Territory Manager working in the Liquor industry or similar experience with premium brands means you can hit the ground running and know how to provide an outstanding level of service to our customers and build strong relationships. Your commercial acumen and high level of understanding in trade math will make you stand out as a successful applicant. Executing sales plans, managing monthly call plans and driving further growth of your account base and overall business is what motivates you. 

We’re looking for a local, you’ll know the area well and be comfortable navigating Christchurch and travelling to surrounding areas. In this role, you’ll need to have excellent organisation, communication and relationships at store level to achieve sales targets. You’ll have the freedom to apply your flexible and entrepreneurial working style to contribute to the ongoing success of the Thirsty Camel team. Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to provide a high level of customer service
• Build on our success in the New Zealand marketplace
• Work autonomously to manage your monthly call plan and growing accounts
• Achieve budgeted sales and distribution targets
• Identify and capitalise on local market opportunities to build sales and profitability
• Merchandising and activating promotional plans with customers
