TikTok is seeking a B2B Events Marketing Lead to oversee the B2B Events team & strategy for Mexico. The ideal person will exhibit strong leadership qualities and deep expertise in the B2B events & marketing domain.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the B2B Events Marketing team and own events strategy in alignment with the broader regional & global marketing teams and the local Sales organization
• Event Management – End to End management of events e.g. Trade shows , Newgen Events , Industry events , Partner events.
• Plan, create event marketing strategy and manage events, including coordination and execution of trade industry events and sponsorships.
• Taking complete ownership of projects being undertaken for execution under events & activations
• Experience & understanding of small & large format B2B events. Have worked or been part of creating IP’s
• Set, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities on event programs.
• Manage the day-to-day relationship and activities with external vendors and event partners.
• Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders.
• Negotiate agreements with vendors and sponsor contacts to ensure lowest cost and highest quality of service.
• Work closely with sales, PR & marketing team on sponsorship arrangements and key initiatives within the organisation.
• Determine fiscal requirements and manage event budget including the collection of receipts and all surrounding documents.
• Coordinate event environment (branding etc.) and manage the execution of events onsite.
• Analyse event operations and prepare and implement recommendations for improving operational efficiencies within the events.
• Troubleshoot and smooth issues related to the successful execution of the event program.
• Provide post event analysis, budget recaps, internal and external feedback and incorporate learning into future event plans.
• Conduct research and identify new event opportunities for the company.
• Source and manage promotional items for key marketing initiatives.
• Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
• Measure each event (ROI)

Qualifications

At least 5 years of relevant events & marketing experience with deep knowledge of the Mexico commercial market

• Strong track record of leadership and mentorship
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills
• Ability to develop strong networks and build credibility within the organization.
• Flexible and solution-oriented approach with excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and Excel as well as flexibility with similar alternative programs.
• Ability to process a vast amount of information and understand and prioritize competing business needs.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and vendors at all levels to meet business goals.
• Proven ability to take direction and input in order to develop effective and engaging branded events that will achieve organizational goals.
• Creativity and commercial awareness
• Willingness to roll up his/her sleeves to get the work done or go the extra mile. Strong personal work ethic. Flexible personality and quick learner who operates with a sense of urgency
• Fluency in both English and Spanish (written/verbal)
