You’ll Do

• Assists with the implementation of policies, procedures and processes to meet organizational goals and objectives focused on AML/KYC/Channel Due Diligence.
• Support the risk assessment of customers and channel partners who require periodic review and escalate to the appropriate parties for file remediation/approvals, as needed.
• Proactively identifies, escalates and provides recommendations for AML/KYC/Channel Due Diligence related risks and issues in support of internal processes.
• Manage Negative News, PEP and Sanctions screening functions, as appropriate.
• Manage the detection, monitoring, and investigation of alerts generated by transaction monitoring tools.
• Support the drafting of Suspicious Transaction Reports.
• Assist other analyst regarding work prioritization to ensure goals are accomplished for KYC Customer Profile reviews.
• Utilize documentary and non-documentary requirements, as appropriate, to be applied to verify the identity of the customer or channel partner.
• Conduct periodic reviews of customers and channel partners as needed to ensure accuracy of profile.
• Follow up with customers on KYC documentations and clarifications as needed.
• Responsible for identifying and sharing best practices and assist in development, implementation and revision of current policies and procedures.
• Support compliance system requirement drafting, testing and UAT.
• Support AML/KYC initiatives, workstreams, working groups and projects.
• Assist in other activities and duties as required to develop, enhance, implement, monitor, and control aspects of AML/KYC compliance.

Job Requirements

We’re Looking For

• Bachelor degree or above.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
• At least 3 years of experience in AML/CFT, compliance or audit department role in a financial institution, preferably at banks/payment institutions/money service business environment.
• Hands-on working familiarity with compliance related matters especially with the implementation and operationalization of regulations, rules, policies and processes related to AML/CFT.
• Thorough and in-depth knowledge of MAS AML Notices, Guidelines, regulations and policies.
• Strong analytical, research and problem solving skills.
• Good at execution, pressure handling and teamwork.
• Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Proven ability to work and execute with minimal supervision or remote management.
