The Trust & Safety team at TikTok helps ensure that our global community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications.

As a Lead, Product Policy Manager, you will be leading a high-performing team in driving policy enhancement and implementation to ensure the safety of our users.

What will I be doing?

• Lead a high-performing policy team who identify safety risks in product feature domains, e.g. live stream, search, account, comment, etc. and leverage policy solutions to effectively address the risks , manage cross-team relations and optimise policy iteration & implementation procedures to deliver high-quality results.
• Collaborate with Global Public Policy, Product, Operations, Legal, and Public Relations teams to improve content policies and streamline enforcement policies and processes.
• Provide prompt and professional input from the user safety perspective to support new product feature launches
• Identify safety risks in product features and leverage policy solutions to effectively address the risks.

What should I bring with me?

• At least 3yrs people management experience in leading small/medium multi-cultural and international teams
• Significant experience in policy, policy enforcement, or public policy, specifically in technology/social media/content
• Excellent oral and written communications with the ability to translate complex challenges into simple and clear language and persuade between multiple levels
• Tech experience is a big plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a related field
• Experience working in the trust and safety industry for tech companies
• Experience working on live-streaming, account, comment, or search-related safety issues
