Team Intro:
As Head of Operations for Spanish Speaking LATAM (SPLA) you will lead a world class team and set the TikTok strategy for the Latin American market (including México, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Peru). Working closely with the LATAM Head of Ops & Marketing, you will evolve the value proposition for local TikTok ecosystem and build rich partnerships with other regional teams to effectively deliver this strategy. Your partners will include regional leaders for sales, product, comms, marketing, business development and policy. You will also track, manage and report on this ecosystem and its impact on the platform.
A successful candidate will have a background in developing creator communities, evolving content ecosystems, and helping high performing and ambitious teams continue to excel. You also have the instincts to understand and implement new content formats and partnerships that drive explosive audience engagement alongside a trackrecord of bringing these content ideas to life – preferably through social or entertainment platforms. This role requires the ability to work across different borders and cultures, high business acumen and analytical skills to identify and prioritize opportunity areas in our business. This person will excel at strategic decision-making and have the ability to problem solve with a solution-oriented mindset.
