ABOUT THE ROLE

The Media Marketing Manager will be an expert in online and offline media strategies, they will be responsible with SPLA agencies for all TikTok plans paid media by the marketing team, building and maintaining relationships with media partners and building out the media strategy for the marketing team in the regions. This person will be obsessed with creative and outstanding plans, will have deep knowledge of 360º strategies, Start to End talkability on media platforms such as Influencers, Portals, Social, Tv and OOH media and will focus on scale, efficiencies, innovation and test & learn. This person will also work exceptionally well with cross-functional teams and will be able to be both hands-on in the day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:The Media Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

• Develop, manage and execute the overall paid media strategy for the SPLA region, with focuses on MX, AR and COL
• Collaborating with the marketing managers to initiate, plan, coordinate, execute and report for the regional media strategy for marketing campaigns and activations.
• Driving marketing initiatives by leveraging multi-channel, holistic media strategy including, but not limited to, digital and traditional offline channels.
• Collaborating with internal marketing and other cross-functional teams to develop media briefs and oversee the development as well as tactical execution of media buys, ensuring strategic direction and timelines are clearly communicated.
• Participating in campaign ideation, providing proactive media insights to internal marketing teams to inform overall campaign strategy.
• Analyzing the effectiveness of media campaigns to better optimize spend and performance, draw insights, and communicate data-driven, actionable takeaways that support the marketing team’s goals.
• Mapping and engaging with new media partners and integrating them into our media strategy
• Identify strategic opportunities for operational efficiencies within the team
• Manage the external local media agency teams, evaluating performance, optimizing team structure and guaranteeing operational excellence and strong media performance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience as a media professional, with offline (TV, OOH, DOOH, Movie Theather) and online experience including digital channels (influencer, programmatic, paid social, branded content, connected TV, streaming and others).
• Well-versed in project management, campaign planning cycles and managing large budgets.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing tactical, holistic media plans in entertainment or tech space (brand or agency).
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Possess a start-up mindset and the ability to adapt to a fast paced, inspiring, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong collaborative skills, experience working with teams across different functions and timezones highly preferred.
• In-depth understanding with the local market, especially local culture and marketing opportunities.
• Highly motivated and result-oriented self-starter. With the capability to tolerate the high speed and pressure working load and intent to ask for chasing the high performance.
• Native Portuguese speaker, Advanced English & Spanish required
