TikTok Hiring for Mexico Marketing Manager, TikTok New Product Job at Ciudad de México Full Time

The Marketing Manager in Mexico helps drive local marketing strategy, leads campaign development and execution, as well as drives cross-functional projects for the market. This role will work closely with product, operations, comms teams locally and globally to develop market level strategies across the country, that will help TikTok New Product to grow its brand and business.

This is a pivotal role in the team, and will require a deep understanding of brand partnerships and social media, including consumer marketing techniques and principles. The Marketing Manager will work with Global Marketing Team and the Regional Marketing Team to identify key priority campaigns and marketing initiatives to drive long term growth for the business. This role will need to lead and coordinate with internal stakeholders as well as agencies and partners to develop campaigns and strategies to grow TikTok’s new business.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing overall music marketing, focused on brand partnerships & social media strategy for Mexico.
• Social Media – Manage all social media channels, content and influencers. Own and update the market’s editorial calendar, be immersed in the business to understand all needs as well as culture to see how to remix the two things together for great storytelling opportunities. A true creator on social media, who understands what type of content can create buzz on the market.
• Brand partnerships and co-branding – create and develop impactful strategies among important brands in the market to drive revenue for the brand. Seeking partnerships with various direct clients in the mexican market.
• Execute music marketing plans to support the growth of the Music business of Bytedance in the region. Deep knowledge and understanding of the brand for new product launches, promotional propositions, and strategic partnerships.
• Own annual marketing plans, including social media, partnerships, cobranding, creating value propositions, likebilities campaigns, product marketing campaigns, among others.
• Building, managing and reporting on yearly, bi-annual and bimonthly budgets.
• Analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and activities to better optimize budget & performance, draw insights, and communicate data-driven, actionable takeaways that support the business goals.
• 6+ years’ work experience in marketing at tech companies is highly preferred, especially experience from building high level strategies to campaign development and media management
• Appetite to learn more about and innovate within, the full marketing lifecycle including devising, creating, executing, and tracking consumer paid advertising campaigns to drive key brand metrics
• Data and Insights driven, ability to synthesise data into strategy and execution.
• You are passionate and knowledgeable about the local music industry and the user communities.
• Thorough understanding of Social Media and Brand Partnerships.
• A keen interest in brand and business development, including commercial and brand partnerships.
• Thorough knowledge of major music streaming platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritise and delegate.
• Ability to perform to a brief, executing to a high standard.
• Excellent written and presentation skills & negotiation skills, and leadership ability.
