The Organisation
The Timaru District Council aims to enable democratic local decision-making and action by, and on behalf of communities, to provide the social, economic, environmental, and cultural well-being of its communities in the present and for the future. With around 400 staff, there are a diverse range of roles from front facing community to support and technical specialists.
The Position/ Person
Get excited for this awesome opportunity! Our Customer Services team needs two enthusiastic individuals to be the vital front-line link between members of our community and Council’s variety of services!
If you’re a people person who thrives in a busy environment and who loves helping others, you already have an advantage.
The way you mix quality service with professional and insightful help, as well as your excellent cash handling and computer skills, will be what makes you a successful Customer Services Officer.

There are x2 permanent full-time positions offering 40 hours per week. The salary range is between $47,320.00 to $53,709.00 per annum.
