TLC Nursing is looking for an experienced (1+ years), caring Medical Travel Recruiter with travel staffing experience to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work with little supervision and build a team of traveling healthcare professionals. We are looking for Recruiters ready to make a difference for traveling healthcare professionals by matching them with their ideal jobs in healthcare facilities, primarily in the New England area of the United States.

TLC Nursing is a small, close-knit team of highly dedicated professionals who go out of their way to ensure everyone on the team has all their needs met. We were started by a Registered Nurse 17 years ago in the State of Vermont. The company has grown over the years and is now opening a physical location in Omaha, NE, where the best Recruiters can feel at home. You should be a driven people-person looking to build lasting relationships with our travel healthcare professionals and assist in their placement every step of the way. Phone Sales and relationship-building experience are a must!

You will be a successful Medical Travel Recruiter if you excel at:

• Managing your time

o You are good at working unsupervised and making independent decisions.

• Communication

o You can communicate well over phone, email, and text messages and are good at building lasting relationships.

• Sales and customer service

o You know how to guide people through different processes in a welcoming and friendly way.

o You can explain and “sell” open positions to your candidates.

A typical day in the office looks like:

• Relationship building – Having your own book of recruits is a plus!
• Managing the best interests of your candidates.
• Researching and matching the right candidates with the right job openings.
• Providing reliable support for your recruits.
• Being goal-oriented and meeting quotas.

Job Summary:

As a medical travel recruiter, you will: review job ads and source, communicate, screen, qualify, and interview candidates for open travel nurse positions. We build relationships with our travel nurses (RNs, LPNs, LNAs, CNAs) with open, consistent, clear communication and provide a reliable human connection with caring and compassion. You will also need to hit the goals and quotas for recruiting and placement.

Medical Travel Recruiter Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Work history as a medical recruiter and staffing account manager
• Social media recruiting experience (Facebook and LinkedIn), familiar with participating in industry-related social media groups
• Our ideal healthcare recruiter is a fast learner who is great at using technology and can pick up new skills.
